Description:
Learn various arm balances inspired by crow pose (Bakasana) through breath and core engagement. You will learn, practice, and have fun!
The Details:
Identify transversus abdominis and practice core engagement (including exercise)
Identify and work rectus abdominis and obliques (including exercise)
Warm up with sun salutations (Surya Namaskara A & B)
Play with crow and jump back to Chaturanga
Practice a standing sequence with emphasis on hamstrings and hip openings
Play with crow variations (side crow, eagle leg side crow, turn signal, titibasana) and transitions
Cool down
