Give yourself permission to deeply rest. This nurturing practice melts away tension and restores your body at the deepest level.
We'll begin with gentle breath work and supportive restorative poses using bolsters, blankets, and blocks to help you fully let go. Then, you'll be guided into Yoga Nidra—a state of conscious deep rest where your body sleeps but your awareness remains gently awake. In this liminal space, you'll release what no longer serves you and plant seeds for positive transformation.
Healing sound vibrations from bowls/gongs/chimes will wash over you throughout, deepening your relaxation and supporting your body's natural ability to renew.
This is not a practice of doing—it's a practice of receiving. Come rest deeply and leave feeling refreshed and whole.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of class. Wear comfortable clothes and bring anything that will make you comfortable - a mat, blanket, or eye pillow. We also have mats, blankets, and bolsters here at the shala for your use.
